Same- Same, but oh so different! WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT!! . If you have ever looked at someone and thought 'why-o-why canโ€™t I get a bum/tummy/height / legs / body like that?โ€™ then you might be missing a crucial part of the equation. Genetics!!!!! . Genetics plays a huge part in who we are and how we look. Look at Sammy, Gretty and I. We train the same each week and eat โ€œ similar โ€œ but we are all so incredibly different. I actually eat probably twice as much as them daily ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ . People compare us three all the time but itโ€™s crazy because genetically Our Height, curves, our bums,leg shape , arms, faces , everything are so diff! . We are all so different because we were meant to be different. Sure we can become the fittest, strongest and healthiest versions of ourselves that we can be, but we have to realise that the best way to do that is to work with what weโ€™ve got, amplify our strengths and forget what we think weโ€™re not. Some things you can change like hair teeth boobs , get skin treatments and grow your muscles to a certain degree BUT be realistic. . Youโ€™re not meant to look like your friend, someone on Instagram or the girls you see in the magazines. The girl in the mag doesnโ€™t even look like the girl in the mag. . Share whatโ€™s your favourite thing about your body and letโ€™s make it OK to love the skin weโ€™re in! . I love my height, my green eyes and find it easy to tone the front of my legs. This post isnโ€™t about being stuck up - so any tall poppy people keep scrolling , its time we LOVE something about our bodies instead of comparing to everyone else - so COMMENT below !

So as Iโ€™ve been recovering from my surgery , Iโ€™ve been thinking deep about so many random things lol .... and I was thinking today - If youโ€™re holding on to yesterday, what hope do you have to make today easier? We all know holding onto the past doesnโ€™t help us achieve anything or move forward onto a better life and feel better about ourselves and situations. And in particular I was thinking about our physical bodies , how much they change and I was looking through old photos from the last 15 years and how much things change. . When youโ€™re young ( well I know I could ) you can get away with eating whatever you want and not gaining weight and then you hit puberty things change. Thatโ€™s normal๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ . Then you hit late 20s or early 30s and your metabolism slows down a little, gravity does itโ€™s thing and things change. Thatโ€™s normal๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ . Then if you fall pregnant๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿผ, your body changes. Boobs grow , hips grow , body grows , shape changes and guess what? Thatโ€™s normal. . You go on a huge month holiday, you eat more and move less and body changes? Yep been there ! Have you? . Life happens and our body changes. Thatโ€™s normal and if you spend your whole life trying to hold on to yesterdays body with todays circumstances you are going to drive yourself crazy. . Youโ€™re not meant to have the body of an 18 year old at 35 - babies , genetics , lifestyle and even diet would have changed TENFOLD donโ€™t forget that. . Youโ€™re not meant to have your pre-baby body after youโ€™ve had babies. Youโ€™re not going to stay the same shape and have the same strength you have when you havenโ€™t set foot in a gym for 3 weeks and had fun and experienced pizza and pasta and everything Italy has to offer? . You will not regret experiencing those life moments, but you will for sure regret worrying about how your thighs donโ€™t look like they used too while you were living them. . Embrace the changes. Be the best version of you you can be, but donโ€™t waste energy trying to be who you were. Instead embrace who you are โค๏ธ

I was chatting with my friend the other day and she was saying how much lighter she finally felt after a hectic hard situation in her life was resolved and it got me thinking...... ๐Ÿค” . We all carry the weight of toxic relationships, of extra stress at work, a negative mindset or years of personal shame with us in different ways from experiences or hurt or shit things that have happened - we all do. . For some we see it through diminished confidence, some canโ€™t hold loving trusting relationships , some are afraid to be themselves or express , others actually physically carry the weight, have other physical symptoms. Stress can lead to a variety of health issues and if youโ€™re constantly talking yourself down internally, naturally that will manifest itself in some way externally. It has too!! Your body feels everything your mind says. . All isnโ€™t lost though because once you realise these things, you can heal. You can face the toxic elements of your life, you can work on healing the parts of you that feel damaged and decide to let go of anything that wasnโ€™t ever really yours to carry. That โ€˜reasonโ€™ thatโ€™s holding you back may be weighing you down in more ways than you realise. Isnโ€™t it time you set yourself free and let it go? Is it time to ask for help or time to get uncomfortable to release some past pain? Iโ€™ve done plenty of work on myself the last 10 years to work through my younger days of hurt or experiences and itโ€™s a massive weight lifted off my shoulders.
