Feelings are much like waves, we can’t stop them from coming but we can choose which ones to surf🌊🏄🏼‍♀️ - Sometimes our feelings take over and they hit us like big waves. We often feel like drowning and we act in the moment. I’ve learned to take a breath, a step back and reevaluate the situation and emotion I’m feeling in the moment. Don’t act when you’re hurt or angry. I always think of these three things before acting or speaking; is it true, is it necessary and is it kind💫🌸🦋
